On the left near the top (close to the rear site) is a letter enclosed in a triangle which I think is the magnaflux stamp. There's a crude marking on the left near the receiver.I bought a beautiful 1894p .44 just like that about 5 years ago, put a new leatherwood scout scope on it and couldn't get it to shoot worth a dang.
