Nov 28, 2016 · It's been a few years, but I recalled that there were at least 2 versions of the 260 BH frames, (the frame on the BH, not the tractor subframe), one that fit the 2210, 2305, 1026R, 1023E and 1025R and a later version that only fit the 1-series, not the earlier 2210 and 2305. The difference is in the spacing of the subframe/BH connection points. The 260B Backhoe was designed to have best-in-class features and also be price competitive with the various backhoes in its class in the marketplace. Competitive units were tested and benchmarked to ensure that John Deere provided the right product at the right price. In the case of a 260b it mostly lacks enough power to hurt itself.
